You're having fun Gert, are you keeping up with the young ones  ;D

Great experience for DS BZB, bet he is so excited.

MF, I love how your family never miss an opportunity to celebrate and how those who can't make it get a second opportunity to do so.

Beautiful day here. Been busy this morning catching up on jobs around the house. Now I'm off to work, think I might take the client out and about today if he wants too.

So lovely Gert.
BZB your son is indeed a star, congratulations to him.

Gert, DH is NOT allowed to buy this one until he has finished at least one more of the ones we have here at home.   :-)) :-))

Just catching up. What fun we have sharing the adventures of members. So many laughs.  Not going to NZ now as I feel I have been with Gert.  Must attend to some sun spots on skin.  Thanks for the push.  Maddy,  we have to let our children go.  You have done a great job in giving your daughter a feeling of independence.  Cookie great old car,  but what a massive job to restore it.
Had great fun today talked Sour Dough with a chef at a new cafe/ bar that has opened in the Swiss Mountain Inn,  on the Ballarat Dalesford road.  He is baking his own SD.  I told him about the SD crumpets.  He was very interested and took a photo of the process,  from my iPad. He gave me a loaf of his SD to try.  It was very nice although the crust was very hard and therefore difficult to slice when fresh.

DS15 took part in his last piano competition for the year. And he had a blast! Had to wait for 17 others to perform first though, as he was right at the end.

He played a Chopin Nocturne for his first piece. Adjudicator liked it; said it was poised. His second piece was Bartok's Romanian Folk Dances - his favourite.

Got first place in the Under 16 Piano Recital at the North of Perth Music Festival. Sooo happy and proud of him. He has had a challenging year in his piano. Lots of ups and downs. Glad that today was an up 😄
