We are off camping in the morning for 5 days. I'm so looking forward to getting away from work. Where we are going doesn't have mobile coverage either which is even better :)
I start my new job next week, but am staying on for a little longer with my old job as well because of lack of support workers to take my place. Hopefully the next round of interviews will bring some more support workers in to take my place. I'm happy with my decision so far anyway.

Cooking, tidying and taking down Christmas tree et al.
Writing thank you letters.

And checking river levels, the main road is closed again beyond us.

Wow. DJ -  that's one huge advantage of living on a hill!!  Scenes like these we're used to in Australia . . but England???  Hope the water goes down quickly and things get back to normal for everyone . .
