DH is due to have some fasting blood tests last week. Like you he has been busy Chookie. You obviously have a lovely GP. Not many would say that.

Catching up on housework today. Visitors also which is lovely.

Monday’s job for you Chookie  to have a fasting blood test !
What a day ! I seem to be running in circles, dropped into town to get some sourdough DH ordered, brought so baked goods from local church group . Chattered to friends of MILs . Had a sad call from a v close friend. Leaped into car to do the shopping ( haha as in I also needed to do Christmas shopping that didn’t happen ) collected DS from Rist ( ag cert 111 course) dog training! Home . Meanwhile DH and his siblings had a meeting for his DM at the rehabilitation center !! It’s an epic journey of shear determination of my MIL to stay just where she is as she likes it there . Well news for her it’s a stepping stone no the Ritiz ! Too funny really. All will work out fine but testing times for all . Day gone and not much achieved foe me .

Oh KAtie, feel for you all with MIL and rehab center. It’s the one on one care that they give.  Fortunately for us, RAL couldn’t get out of there fast enough. ( although they did follow him home)

Any one who makes their own bread, please read this . It’s in the Australian Guardian,

Yesterday I reported for jury duty. There was more security checking done than boarding a plane. The 500+ of us were put into a very large room and shown videos etc about jury duty. A group of 20 were then taken out, (the numbers being drawn by a ballot) and then another 20 selected. I was in that number. We were taken outside and told we weren’t required yesterday or today and to report tomorrow morning. Hopefully I get tipped out then too.

Being called for jury duty is something I have always dreaded Cookie.  Fingers crossed that you aren’t called for a case.

I would have been devastated if I wasn’t called out cookie, it’s a great experience. A little close to Christmas now though to be starting a case so maybe you’ll be lucky next time too.

Like Trudy, jury duty does not appeal to me and I hope I never get the call.

I went back in for jury duty today. I got called out for duty, then as the jury officer was speaking to us she took a call. The case that we were to be the jury for had been abandoned. I was very pleased. We were then dismissed for the rest of the week. Apparently this isn’t uncommon. People plead guilty at the last moment and the jury is no longer needed.

Yesterday was a big one . A long drive to have our last bookclub lunch out ! A adventure it was , DF drove but had a trailer on the back with a ute to be repaired, collected another passenger dropped trailer and ute off . Out to lunch by the sea at a surf club . Shopped with GF the Main Street . Numerous stops for collecting things then home . A quick make dinner steak and veg put into a thermoserver in the microwave to keep warm ( hoping no one turns it on ) then my second bookclub Zoom ! Dinner very late . Today was ok but unfortunately just near by there was a farm accident ,makes me very sad this happens (and nervous for DH ) . Update Jerry our naught cat has gone missing again since Saturday, naughty thing hope he returns soon .

I hope you find Jerry KAtie.
I’ve caught up with some housework today. I was being cross with DH as there was strawberry trekked everywhere. Lucky he was at a meeting as I checked my shoes and it was me.

Not a lot done here. I planted out 3 Dragon Fruits that I had rooted in water inside. Hopefully they will do well outside.
