Thanks girls, have passed on all your well wishes and Don is very touched that people he has met once or not at all are concerned for him. It shows you just what a great family we have here.  ;D

Mich, I am dissapointed you and Don aren't able to come to the FF.  Saying that obviously Dons health is the most important consideration.  I am pleased to read he is now home in your capable care.
Much love to you both, wishing him a speedy recovery. XX

That must be a rarity Cookie?.
DH still on leave for another week. We went to IKEA today to have a look, we hadn't been for ages. Managed to find a few odds and ends for GK's for Christmas.

It must be like practising for retirement Katj. I really only go to IKEA when I meet Jeninwa.

I'm on my own again this evening as DH has gone back to work this afternoon. I enjoyed having him home of a night and eating dinner together.
I like your phrase Cookie, "practising  for retirement". Our one week trial went well, hopefully would work out long term.  :-\

We've got two huge crabapple trees but I don't often get the harvest as the birds are in there gorging themselves first.  If I can, I make crabapple jelly with mine (with raspberries is a lovely combination - suggested to me by Chookie).
