Day outside. Yesterday soccer then went swimming at the lagoon with four of E's friends families. Was great. Today a day in the yard with the kids. New garden beds and kicking the soccer ball. Glorious weekend!

Good job done Robyn.  ;)
I hate a messy pantry but I am afraid DH just never puts anything back in the place he took it from in both fridge and pantry.
Been telling him for years but it seems to go in one ear and straight out the other one   :(

MF, its an LG, 8 years old ( is that the life of things these day?)  The trouble is when I get them to come out it will work. Frustrating.  Its a funny time of year and dont need it too much but nice to have for those nippy nights.

I will ask DH when he comes home Denise. Is it working on cooling or temperamental on both cycles. You want it fixed before it gets really cold.
It's very frustrating as my Ilve stove played up all the time. Only 2 out of 6 hot plates worked consistently   others would take awhile to ignite most of the time and would cut out while cooking. Of course when the technicians came, which was every 3-4 months for 4 years, they never cut out but they didn't stay long enough to see exactly what was happening. They didn't do anything to help and Ilve refused to replace it.

We had a car run today. Last week we put our cars on dilay with others and today was our own club run. We went way up the other side of the river. It was just over 61km each way. Had a lovely morning tea, meeting and lunch. Then trekked home.

Sounds like a great day cookie. I took the boys to the footy today as a treat for DS7's birthday. One happy cat and one sad tiger. But we all had a great day.

Couldn't please both the boys Kimmy but it sounded like a good game.

Judy' s not the only happy one :)
We have had a busy weekend as winter sport has started and my cousin was married yesterday in the country. It was lovely to see them married, but it was really, really cold as it was a garden wedding and the reception was in a marquee. I'm not sure what got into me when we got home, but I now have 3 boxes to take to the op shop tomorrow. It's mostly wedding gifts that have been sitting unused in the cupboard for over 20 years. I then went out into the garden and filled 1 1/2 green wheely bins. My veggie patch is ready for replanting, and I've planted out the garlic cloves that have started to shoot. I've also done a heap of washing and made soup and bread rolls for dinner as well as a multigrain loaf for tomorrow. I'm off to bed now as I'm more than a bit tired. ;D

Didn't know you barracked for Ports Sue.  Yes Cookie, very pleased with the boys .

Love to know what the unused wedding gifts are Sue, are they really that bad LOL. You've achieved so much this weekend, today was certainly a better day than yesterday.

Very busy day for you ES.

The wind blew the rain away yesterday and we went to Tocal Field Day. Good day but quite cold.
