Judy, sorry your team didn't have a win, go Eagles!
We have had a very stormy weekend so far and DH and I stayed indoors the whole day. With soup in the fridge and other leftovers I did no cooking. We watched football and other pre recorded shows and caught up on sleep, DH coughed his way through last week. What a great day!
A fudge machine? What will they think of next. Great if you are selling it Robyn.

Good morning everyone. :)

I was sitting at the table this morning with a cuppa when about 30 of these beautiful King Parrots landed in the tree next door and started feeding on some seeds or nuts.  DH said there were more in the tree accross the road.  We often see them but not in such large numbers.

Margaret how beautiful. I'm quite fond of birds.
Katj I hope you and anyone else from Perth didn't receive any damage. We had a call that some of our fence was down. Thank goodness for DD's, friends and neighbours. DD says she has run out of rope and stuff to tie it up. Apparently the lovely man over the road came over to tell her some of the front fence was down ( she was trying to sort out the side fences) and asked if she had some string to fix it. He is lovely but doesn't speak much English.
Such kind people.

I thought you were best off not being at home during the storm cookie but DH would probably rather have been there to fix the damage himself.  It was lovely that your DD received the help needed though.

Hi Friends.
A sunny start to the day here but apparently it's going to cloud over later.A lovely walk with Chance. He ran a lot this morning and got wet crashing through the long grass.

The Horsechestnut Tree is a favourite of mine and at the moment it's flowering. Its magnificent in full bloom.

Lovely birds Margaret. Its always lovely to look out the window and get a nice surprise of feathered visitors.

You've got good neighbours Cookie.Hopefully DH can get it all fixed when you return.

Morning all.
Cookie, that is always a worry when away. Glad DD was home and neighbours willing to help.
Mab. They are certainly beautiful birds and so many.
CC, lovely big trees. Ballarat has streets lined with them. Very suited to cold climate. Ral has planted several at Cherokee.
More work assembling chook house today.

Cookie we didn't get any damage from the wild weather, but yesterday we went for a walk around Jackadder lake and there were a lot of tree branches down, some very large ones. The council have a big job on their hands!

Good morning everyone, after a wet & windy day descended upon us yesterday today is just beautiful.
I love the picture of the birds too Margaret, what a lovely sight to enjoy whilst having a cuppa.
Chookie, I love the beds of colour from all those annuals planted in the main street of Ballarat all year round, a lot of work goes into making your city a joy to behold.

Good morning everyone.  Cool but sunny this morning, very windy overnight but eased off  now.

I love all your photos CC, they remind me of my trip to UK many years ago.

Hi friends.
A lovely sunny start to the day here.A good walk with Chance although I held my breath a couple of times as he caught barbed wire when running.
The foothpaths are knee deep in wild flowers. This white one is beautiful,I don't know it's name but there are drifts of this low growing plant everywhere.

Morning all.
Pretty flower CC.
Cold, but nice to be outside rugged up.
We need help from some small person who is good at Lego, with building the chook house.  ;D
Judy , there are lots of Rose bushes planted down the main road in Ballarat. Yes, they do look good.
