I'm glad that I gave my 31's away as both DIL and finally DD, are both enjoying them.
I find the slightly larger bowl and greater variation in temp good.
If I have to start paying to have it fixed, I will look carefully at other options.

Hi friends.
A breezy start to the day here.A good walk with Chance.I didn't meet anybody this morning. The cattle are still in the fields and the two old horses were grazing quietly as I walked passed.

A few pages of catch up reading. Congratulations Thermilover, hopefully the sickened will disappear soon.
Chookie what a nuisance.

Jamberie there is only 3 of us and I find that I use both of my machines. They have sort of developed into specific usage. The 5 does the bread making etc and the 31 does anything needing heat.

That's a good idea Cookie. I will probably do similar. I'm hoping DD will be able to use the guided cooking in the 5. How did you come to the 5 for bread and 31 for heat?

All your well wishes worked as I feel so much better this morning, almost back to my old self.  Enjoyed my walk earlier after being indoors for a couple of days, though the weather isn't looking very promising for the rest of the day.

Enjoy your weekend everyone, whatever you are doing.  ;D

I'm pleased you're feeling better JulieO.

Robyn, what is a fudge machine please?  I know I don't need this one for sure though.

Good morning everyone.

Yesterday I heard a lady tell people at her table to 'try the fudge, it's delicious'.  The TMX certainly makes it so easy, I daresay your machine will make a much bigger batch Robyn.

Football for me today, a quick visit to Geoff and Mum then it's my day.

I have been thinking of fudge for about 1 year, so I bit the bullet, ( so to speak ) and bought a expensive fudge machine 2 weeks ago.
Today I have made caramel fudge, caramel macadamia, and salted caramel. :D

I will sell it at work, with the lollies.

so far it looks great, I will take photos in the morning, and post.

Next week I will make chocolate, choc coffee beans, and something else.

My Thermomix,  Kitchen Aid, Pizza oven, Nu Wave 5 in 1, Spatulas, all brings love, laughter, happiness, and great food  to my kitchen.

Jamberie the decision to use the 5 for bread etc was because it handles slightly larger quantities and the 31 is used for heat foods because it isn't under a cupboard and the steam goes directly into the air. Rather basic really.
