I'm sure NBN will be wonderful Chookie. We aren't scheduled to get it for another 2 years. We are in a newer suburb too. Our old home has it already!  I'm still glad I built my new house though. Although it isn't really new......I've just realised we have been here almost 12 years!

Hi friends.
Sunshine and showers here today.A bit cold walking this morning with Chance. They have reintroduced the herd of horses in the field I walk through. They haven't been around for a few months which was nice. The horses were too busy munching on grass to notice me today.

I make sure that Chance stays at a safe distance Chookie. The horses can be nosy and if they wander over I roll under the fence and call Chance to me :)

CC , I would love to see a video of you rolling under fence.

Hi everyone, I haven't been around much, lost my cooking mojo, it's slowly coming back. I ended up in hospital for part of Easter, I'd not been well for weeks before that. Alls good now, lucky I wasn't eating much in hospital as the food was terrible. Been back at work for just over a week. Start holidays today. DH and I leave for Singapore and Thailand on Tuesday. Can't wait I was a bit worried that we might have had to cancel.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

Sorry to hear you haven't been well Jen, maybe a holiday in Singapore is just what you need. Take care.

Robyn, as for the caramel sauce, I would say make a large quantity of sticky date muffins or cakes for all the kids you feed and warm up the sauce to pour over. If you are too tired, just let them pour it over ice-cream.

Hi friends.
It rained very heavily overnight so we are back to boot sucking mud on the footpaths :P I'm wading my way through it and Chance just nimbly skips over it all. :-))

Not sure I could write a book thermilover but would keep you amused with my antics with Chance ;)

I'm not very elegant rolling under the fence Chookie LOL but I bet it is very funny if you were watching it. ;)

Good news you are feeling better Jenny.Enjoy your holiday :-*

You could make Creme Caramel Robyn.

Sorry to hear you've been unwell Jenny but pleased you have come good and will be off on your holiday on Tuesday.  Have fun, don't overdo it though.
