Hi friends.
A sunny start to the day here.A great walk with Chance and I met three other dog walkers today. Two I know but the third was a first time meeting.

Did the raised beds arrive Chookie?

Garden beds arrived and Ral has worked all day to put 2 in place and the third one tomorrow. We are having the scoria delivered tomorrow, also some very good growing soil that has mushroom compost and horse poo added.
On Wednesday morning a man is coming with his excavator to put the scoria in the bottom for drainage and then the soil. We are past trying to shovel 5 cubic meters of soil. All very good.
I an trying to rescue a. Rhubarb plant that has been neglected.

I had to ask Mr Google what scoria was! Ral must be exhausted.

Morning all.
Early again but starting to settle into some sort of pattern. Back to making bread so feeling good.
CC, Rhubarb seems to take time to get established, needs lots of organic food, ( horse poo ) and goes dormant in winter.
I'm looking forward to planting peas, broad beans and lettuce.

Enjoy your new home establishing Chookie and Ral. Judy you will be worn out at the end of the week.
Robyn our school holidays have only just started. They had Easter as a separate holiday this year.

Wet here again. Not cold at all. The rain is lovely, although it is quite light here.

Even though we are into the second month of Autumn, it's still very warm here. Cool nights.
I'm loving this weather, warm days, cool nights. An Indian Summer.  :D
