First day home and have woken to rain.  Was so hoping to see a nice heavy downpour in Melb but we had such lovely weather while there.

No walk this morning and an easy day planned.  DH back at work already  :-\

Good morning everyone, some nice, gentle rain overnight here.

Your holiday seemed to go very quickly Julie, you obviously only just missed the rain in Melbourne.

No rain here, but a lovely cooler night. The days are pleasant at the moment, however next Monday is to be 31.

Hello everyone, I hope everyone is well and enjoying some cooler Autumn nights. CC I hope your days are becoming a little more Springy. It's nice to get a few minutes to get on here and catch up on the goings on.
We still have a few things to do in our new (old) place, but we are not in a hurry. We are in and that is the main thing!
DH and I have been getting up at 5am, so we can have breakfast together before he leaves for work at 6. He is enjoying catching public transport and not getting caught up in morning & afternoon freeway traffic.
I have felt the need for Nanna naps in the afternoon after getting up at 5 every day so needless to say we look forward to the weekends.
Our kitty cat has settled in pretty well and made friends with our neighbours in the next door villa.
One thing that never changes is that the thermomix grinds on, doing it's thing, thank heavens, but I wish the supermarkets would all be set out the same across the country. So hard to find things when you hate shopping and in a hurry to get out. That's my little gripe for the day.
Have a lovely evening everyone.

Then you just get used to where everything is and they move it around ... all to entice you to make impulse buys!

Nice to hear your story Katj.  Well done you, getting up at 5am with DH - I doubt I could do that!  I'm glad the cat is happy to.

Morning all.
Katj , that all sounds great.
We are picking Bruce and Mandy up from airport today.  Then off to Invermay. DS has organised NBN for us so really looking forward to this.
Heading for Invermay feels like going for a holiday and staying in a nice BNB.
Looking forward to using TMX.

Yes Judy, it went a bit too quick for us, but we loved every minute.  :D

A dreary, cool day today.  First time I've had to wear my cold weather walking gear and it was needed down the beach this morning, very enjoyable.  Called into Coles on the way home and did some shopping which will save me going out again later.  Needed fresh fruit & veg mainly. :D
