I'm staying in Melbourne with DS,DIL & adorable GS 2 1/2.
My son asked me this morning if I heard the wind and rain, I didn't hear a thing, that's what happens I guess when you spend the day looking after a little one, lol. I'm sorry I missed it,after Perth's hot spell it would have been nice to hear some rain.

Good morning everyone.  It was windy here in the wee hours this morning and I wondered if I'd heard rain too but my rain gauge had nothing in it.  Lucky you Julie.  If you miss out on your morning walk, you don't try to make up for it if the weather clears later?

No, it's just not the same at a later time of day, I've tried it in winter when we've had heavy rain first thing in a morning.  I just love that pre-dawn time I guess.  Plus I tend to get stuck into things at home and don't want to have to stop to go out.
