Morning all.  Having a sleep in this morning.  Yesterday was busy,  lots of cooking ,  visitors and tradies.  We had our automatic sun blinds fixed.  These come down when the sun shines and go up when it is cloudy.  However , lately they have been doing strange things.  All fixed now.
Have a great weekend everyone.

That must have been funny  chookie. I had a new air con installed yesterday. They found a birds nest in the outside thingy of the old one. The geckos, frogs and cockroaches had been having a good old time as well. Two hunks came to replace the crap one with a "you beaut" powerhouse state of the art unit which also heats so on that one day of the year the temp gets down to say 14, I can heat the house  ;D ;D

Gremlins in the works aye Chookie, nice to have them working again with summer soon arriving.

I wonder how many times a year your new a/c will be switched to heating Gert, it sounds as if you've gone a tad soft up there  ;D
I can remember when we lived in Darwin back in 69/70, if the temperature went down to 18oC the locals all put their cardigans etc on and the shops sold out of heaters :-))

That was a busy day Chookie, hoping today is quieter for you  ;D

Gert, hoping you don't have to use the heater much  ;D  Our air conditioner is only used for heating, when it does get hot here I normally open up the back of the house and the front and let the breeze blow through, hopefully it does the dusting on the way.  ;) :D ;D

I love to hear  of the breeze multitasking Emme.

I had no choice of the  air  con as anything more than about 8KW apparently comes with reverse cycle whether you want It or not. I bought a 9kw and is  a whopper, big ugly and revved up. My kind of dude. I am sitting outside on the patio reading the morning paper. It is 29 degrees out of the sun. I am thinking I should go Into the house, start one of Jaime's 15 minute meals and stretch it to 3 hours so I can "feel the love".

In that case Gert, you are now covered for both hot and cold conditions and these days you never really know what is going to happen weather wise.   Enjoy your new a/c, it will keep you sane in the hottest months.

14 degrees here is a heat wave, Gert.  Well not quite.  Ha.   We have one of those reverse cycle things, like Emme hardly ever use it in Summer.  When it is that hot we usually have car packed and are off,  if any fire around.
