Fine thanks Obbie, very overcast here at the moment.  According to the news here things should be starting to get better around Sydney. We haven't had much rain at all.

Morning everyone - I'm just back from my walk. It's the start of a new school year, and I need to get out of holiday mode >:(
I woke up way too early this morning, so I put it to good use and resumed my morning walks. Hope it lasts ;)

Thank you for asking Mich and CC. We are ok ...we were really prepared this time and my DH and I woke up at 1 am and 3 am to check that we were not flooded with DH empytying the pool twice during the night. The problem is that although this house was built by the previous owner who was a builder it is poorly designed in some ways with a huge pool at a higher level to the rest of the house and with inadequate drainage. We have only been here a year and it is a very modern beautiful house but drainage is a huge issue with heavy rains.
