So true - that's why we cancelled going to Sydney. Don't need to be travelling on the freeway with weather warnings.

My brother and his wife had driven up to Coff's Harbour on Friday for an extra long weekend. I spoke to him last night and they had returned home. They said they didn't want to make extra work for the SES personnel

Good idea Michelle .. I def wouldn't be traveling at the moment..

Amy it's fine just hope we get power ASAP but doesnt look like it but at least we now have a generater.. Just going a tiny bit insane ..:)

Thanks for update Frozzie, we are thinking of you all v much. Bundaberg was on the news, helicopter pictures.

We have a very wet week coming so more flooding for UK too, we are ok where we are. The weather seems to have got more extreme.

Anyone heard from Johnro?.. More floods to hit rocky.. Evacuation for rocky, bundaberg and gympie.. :(

A lot of roads closed from power lines on road and flood waters..

It's eerily quiet outside right now - the calm before the storm??  hope not . . . .don't mind the rain but I'm hoping and praying the wind blows itself out before it reaches here . . . .
