Have you been drinking this morning Mich :D :D :D

So all ok Amy?

So far so good, thanks Hally :-* Just got to wait for biopsy results.
I have a strange rash on my arm, not sure what from. Noticed it last night :-\

Drinking? I don't drink.

Hope the results come back quickly for you Amy.

Yep have got an egg ring, will go put that in the sun too. Going to take the egg out of the fridge too so it is at room temp.  ;D

Mcmich - It's actually cooler now that it was at around 8 or 9 this morning!

Dede - that photograph really hits you in the stomach!!  To see the extent of those fires is just horrible . . .

Very smokey here also, have had to shut the windows to keep the smell out of the house.  Very windy, but not as hot, thank goodness.
Sorry the weather is not helping with your experiments  ;D The time I did it, it was very hot, clear sky, no wind and the concrete was so hot you could not walk on it and about mid day, no daylight saving then.   The egg did cook, I got growled at and the dog ate the egg.  For my taste from memory it would have been better had the yolk been left a little longer but the white was definitely cooked. The dog loved it. As for the bacon, that did not get out of the house, I got caught.  I have also seen eggs cooked with a little butter on the lid of a paint tin left out in the hot sun.

OK, mustn't be hot enough to fry an egg here - seemed like it was the metal was really hot.
I have photos of it at 10 mins, 30 mins and 40 mins
