GF, I remember when very young (around 5 years old) cooking eggs on the concrete in the dairy much to my mothers disgust. I was on my way to get the bacon when my mother found out.  ;D

Marie

 ;D ;D ;D

I was thinking of putting an egg on some foil and putting it on the driveway today. Always wondered if it really worked?

I think I remember doing something similar, Marie . . my Mum wasn't particularly impressed either - just didn't appreciate original and scientific exploration in one so young! ;D ;D ;D

Mcmich - was just thinking of doing something similar . .LOL . . .let's try it.  Will put a small frypan out there - give it some time to heat up 0- add an egg or two and see what happens . . . ;)

Yeah OK, sounds good.  8)

Don't know what DH will say?
Don't know why I didn't try this as a kid. I was always up to something - usually no good.  :D

Plenty of sun here - going to put a small frypan out to warm up.  :D

Amy - don't try this at home - I'm not setting a very good example.

Just went and put the base of a flan tin in the sun - way up the back by the brick pile, hopefully DH won't notice. I'll give it an hour to heat up and see how it goes.
