Frozzie I now a boy who is 13 and has lots of problems with bed wetting. It wouldn't be a very nice thing for him to deal with at that age.

kim , he could have an infection somewhere, both of my DDs  suffered a great deal from  urine tract infection
Anything is possible, although girls seem to suffer more from UTI's than boys - an anatomy thing.
If he does have UTI other symptoms would be present such as a temp and he would be feeling off.

I would not restrict his liquid intake necessarily. It could be stress related sure but worth investigating further. Is he drinking more lately? Is he tired more than usual? Is he hungry more than usual? Has he had an infection lately? If he has any of these symptoms or complains a lot of other things not related. Like feeling like vomiting then I would take him to the doctor and test for diabetes.

Ori it could be just the stress of it all for sure if he has no other symptoms.

Glad the party went well robyn..

Thanks for the concern and comments re ds... No def not infection....think honestly its just a side effect of everything going on... Huge changes happening all the time here at the moment.. In anycase nothing major just out of character.. Furniture and items disappering from the house and strangers coming through and i dont think he is liking it that much... Just hope he calms downif not ill probably go see the pediatrician or gp to see if there is something she can give him.. She is homeopathic.. To help him calm down a bit and not be so amxious...

Morning all. Up ready for paper run. We are all off to Devonport today to take my eldest DS who has 2 weeks of TAFE for his apprenticeship. He's staying in a self contained unit so he's going to have to fend for himself for the first time.

Good morning dede. Is Devonport far from you. DS will appreciate you all the more after two weeks on his own.
Have fun on the paper run.

I couldn't sleep past 5.00am this morning, think it's because I've been on so many early shifts lately. Have started already though.

Good morning ladies.  I have the grandchildren for a sleepover.  I guess they'll be waking up soon, but it's all quiet here at the moment.  I love having them sleep over.

Jess, I've been thinking of you.  Stay strong.  One door closes and another one opens.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Michelle Devoport is about an hour away. DS wanted to ride his motorbike everyday, but only being a learner driver I thought it was far to dangerous traveling 2 hours a day. At least where he is staying is only 5 minutes to TAFE.

I would worry too about an hours drive each way on a motor bike.
He'll have a ball being out on his own for a coupl of weeks.

Yes a big upset for little boys Frozzie. Once the adventure starts  he will no doubt get into the  fun of it.
