Good morning Gert & Obbie

Gert, I tried to get some beef cheeks at the Woolworths supermarket this week but was told they don't have them and the chap told me that when he worked at the abbattoir all the beef cheeks were sent for export.  He said they were too tough to bother with.  I thought, not the way that Gert does them.  I will ask at the butchers and see whether he can get them for me, apparently it is only the butchers here that do there own slaughtering that would have them.

Obbie,  hope all goes well with daughters birthday.

Marie

Obviously he had no idea. In my Woolies yesterday they had  7 packets of beef cheeks. Coles  had some too.  You can also use pig cheeks. Just as nice.  They are very popular in restaurants as they are cheap and they can sell them for a high price as no bugger  wants to be bothered cooking them .

Worth the effort. So keep asking Marie.

Hello
5.27 am

Both managed to sleep til now.

We feel the whole thing is surreal. We were brought here a year ago to live and work.  Now we are dispensed with.

Off to make tea.

He never wets his bed normally even when we were potty training.. At least very little but i think your right its probably the move as we just got more boxes delivered yesterday and his little brain clogs are probably working overtime..will have o have a chat to see whats worrying him and to reassure him its a big change but a good one in the end but 2012 has not been kind so i can only imagine how he is with us being stressed out as well..

No wet beds since about hree and i think only then as dd had arrived .. He is now 7 and its very rare for him however he has a couple of friends who still wet the bed often..one still wears a nappy which he doesnt seemed bothered by :(  Very unusual for ds so will have a mummy chat when he wakes up...cant imagine those with kids that still arent dry or potty trained at night . Constant washing of sheets etc arrgghhh!

Morning Dj, thoughts are with you.

Morning Frozzie, hope DS  problem will disappear soon, it is no fun at all having to  wash the sheets, as Uni says something maybe worrying him.

Uni, made some rolls, not as good as yours.  Will use some bread improver next time.

Good luck with that. Sometimes just too much to drink and excitement causes an occasional accident.

My godson was much much older, poor lad and his poor mum.  :-\
Now at University and fine.

Thanks Marie

Sounds as if it's stress related Frozzie. Restricting fluids doesn't help, even though logic tells you the less that goes in the less to come out. Maybe some extra TLC.

DJ I'm so sorry to hear, hubby and I both went through that last year (2 months between us) and its so stressful. I can only imagine what it would be like if we had to pack up and move too. Thinking of you and praying the next job is better.
