Droverjess we are all here hoping wishing  and praying form the very best outcome for you. Some of us have been in your place and have reached the other side You will too. Different tune a year from now and it will be a Great  2013  for you.

You come here and vent anytime you like. It is only us here. We are family and will do everything to encourage you. Having lost so much it will give meaning to every small gain.  You have not lost your identity. We know who you are.

Morning everyone, most exciting thing happening here today is I have some bills to pay. Will also have to manage some cooking but don't know what yet.  Uni, is your pasta recipe on the forum? I tried a search but nothing came up.
Take care everyone

Marie the pasta recipe in the EDC book is good

sometimes it will a bit on the dry side but thats with any pasta dough recipe, once you have kneaded the dough tip on bench and just wet your hands with water if to dry and knead some more

Often a question can have more than one answer so why not.

Morning everyone - I have just bought a pasta machine (thanks to spending too much time on the shopping thread  :-))) but have absolutely NO IDEA how to go about making fresh pasta.  I thought that someone here, especially Uni  ;D, might be able to give some basic hints and tips and maybe a recipe or two?

Or else is there a good cookbook on making your own pasta?

I have no idea where the thread is Karen although there is a step by step guide by Uni.
She talked dede through her first pasta making session.
