Marie, hope everything ok with you.  We got home at 6 pm.  everything ok.  Can see the smoke in the distance.  Feel for these poor people who have lost homes.  First time in years that the South wind has helped the flames, usually the North wind.
Gert ,  have been watching the weather forecast for you.  It has been hotter here than up there.  would love some of your rain.

Thanks for your thoughts ladies,  Chookie, so glad that you are okay, have been thinking of you both.  We are okay here  as well they have the fire contained  and under control , we still have smoke and that is going away from us at the moment.  Did not get the wind today, it was blowing a gale yesterday.  Really feel for those over there who have lost everything.  Really terrible.  Would love some of that rain as well Gert.
