I’ve been playing with my new little bread machine. Yesterday I made a SD loaf in it. The loaf makes about 9 slices. The slices are small and the SD not prominate. A full cycle takes about 5 hours. They are called 1 pound loaves.
Afternoon tea with Probus ladies.

Chookie, I agree with both yoou and Judy, it sounds as if he knew what the problem was and has fixed it.

DS left yesterday and has gone to visit our GD in Geelong and then home to Qld tomorrow.  We miss him and the house is very quiet now he has gone.

Sounds to me as though he knew exactly what the problem was Chookie, I think your intuition is right. Why can’t people just be honest!

Enjoy your break Marina, unfortunately Qld weather is now not ‘beautiful one day, perfect the next’.

Had a phone call from TMX service department.  Patrick explained that they had done a diagnostic test on my machine, but wasn’t able to say exactly what they found. ( didn’t have the paperwork in front of him). I used the machine for several recipes yesterday with no problems. I said the issue for me wasn’t just the machine not working but the inconvenience of having to pack it up and sending it back.  It’s obvious they are worried about litigation as he mentioned several times that they have documented my case. Although not stated I feel that they found a problem and fixed it. If it plays up again, I’ll do as DS says and take a video.

Off to Noosa for a few days then another couple of days in Brisbane - I was looking forward to a lovely Queensland break away from our weather down here but, sadly, the weather looks pretty bleak up there just now.  Ah well, it will be good to catch up with my sister as well as a friend whom I used to babysit many, many years ago!

Chookie, be tenacious about your 7 problem, I have a funny feeling you may not be the only one suffering glitches with that model.
