I have just made the chicken xim xim, delicious, very different. Its an Afro Brazillian stew. The recipe I have then wants it turned into a large pie. :)

Wow, Hally - that's such a great idea to incorporate with the soccer. Great experience for CP too.
Will be so interested in how the chicken xim xim turns out. I'm off to google it.  :D

I am having some for lunch, very nice. Yes cp,loves soccer & it is a good way to get us all involved. We are a bit behind, the xim xim is our brazilian dish (tomorrows dinner )the chicken was our italian, we are having an english roast tonight, so a roast covers England & Aus. It is making it all much more fun. By the weekend I should be more organised and eat food/menu plan the dishes for the correct match days.

The idea was to cook the dish for the team we supoort on that day :)

Pea & Ham soup and Spiced Pumpkin Pudding.

The puddings are mousse-like, I used my Nestle dariole moulds and the recipe made 7.  This one was served hot with cream and I can't wait to try it cold.

We needed the restorative powers of chicken soup tonight as we've been laid low with a lurgy for the last week, so I made everyone,s favourite - quirky Jo's chicken and brown rice soup
