Enjoy the party Robyn. Food sounds great.
Higglety pigglety leftovers tonight. Some mac and cheese with sausages, some garlic prawn risotto, all must have salad. Everyone happy ;D

DH and I are off to Carols tonight, very excited, just love Carols.

DH has a discount voucher to KFC and he badly wants it tonight. So I have made potato salad, garden salad and JD's french onion dip and cheese straws to go with the KFC chicken pieces. I haven't had KFC for years. We will finish off with chocolate coated almonds and fruit.

I have put nine on a platter to take and...well 10 just did not line up right!! Can't take a pic somehow Tapatalk is telling me I have run out of photos to upload to this forum, not sure why!

Lol GHM.
Tapatalk give you a small amount of upload allowance, then you have to pay to get unlimited photo uploads. It's really annoying but not expensive to do.

I made a really nice beef curry.  Used the Tikka Paste to marinate the beef, added some onion, turmeric, ginger, yoghurt and tinned tomatoes.  Very tasty.  Still quite hot as I obviously added lots of chillies to my original tikka paste.

Tonight we are having Maddy's chicken burgers. I will make the rolls this afternoon. We love these.

I really don't know what we're having. I have a plate left over from last night, so DH can have that. I might make myself a risotto (DH hates risotto). I have some pumpkin there and some chicken bones to cook up a stock. Yes, that sounds good... Wish I had some spinach...
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.
