Nice curtains DJ.
Was planning to do nothing today. Temp reached 45c yesterday and 40c today. But, got home from an appointment as was greeted by ants, yet again in the house. This time the bedrooms. Cleaned them, cooked some salads, sat down for a cuppa and found more ants in kitchen at dinner time. Completely over it. And now it starts raining. Think I might go out and play in it.

That sounds like an excellent idea Kimmy.

Thanks CP, great advice. It is sort of in hand, in that we are working on website etc. I have written lots of content and I took lots of pictures last year, but we have changed the windows since then. The outside now needs painting and that must wait to spring.

We had lots of ants before we moved in the summer... Big nuisance!

Hopefully we won't need Ruth to rescue us as we are getting it right for ourselves... Time will tell.

Had enough of this heat  :-))  last nights lightning strikes caused havoc again & hubby was out on fire truck, they were everywhere but thankfully all controlled....tomorrows conditions  is going to be the bad day though.
And, my worst nightmare happened last night!!!
I had to drop hubby off at the highway to get a ride on the fire truck....and heading back, all I could see was legs on the windscreen in front f me   :o :o  huntsman as big as my hand, walking briskly upwards towards my visor  :o :o :o SQUEALS....slammed on brakes, exited like lightning & drew the courage to slam it with my thong *shudders* If I didn't get him with the one hit & he escaped....I would have walked home!  oh my...what a mess it made  :-))

Hope everyone stays cool!

Those huntsman can be wiley critters and they so love cars.  Glad you were wearing your big girls pants. Personally I would have shooed it because the cleaning up is disgusting. The trouble with shooing it is that sure as anything it would turn up again and  scare the dickens out of you.

I hope the fires stay controlled.

Stay safe and be happy there was only on in the car and not a family of huntsman
