BBQ chook, oven fries, gravy and coleslaw. Hoping to try the magic mayo recipe I saw earlier this week.

Last night our 5 year old cooked his first meal for us all (with only a little help from DH with the boiling water).  He even "made up" the recipe:  spaghetti with tuna, ricotta, frozen peas and lemon rind (I was impressed that he thought to put in the lemon rind), topped with grated cheese and baked in the oven.  The baking dried out the spaghetti a bit and made it crunchy, but he was just so proud of himself that he ate 4 big serves  :o

That's wonderful Karen   :D

The little ones are always so proud when they cook something.

You must be very proud of him too  :D  especially as it was edible  ;)

What a clever little chappie Karen - look out, he might want to take over the kitchen now.  Still, I think it's big enough for the 2 of you but you might need a second Thermomix.
