I hope so! I missed him, but at least I had DD with me. I always ask "did you miss me?" and his standard reply is "I wasn't shooting at you."  I would be very surprised if he said anything else now. ;D

dinner tonight is a beef stew that has been tantalizing me with its smell for hours...it is in the slowcooker...

I used ham instead of bacon and defrosted some spinach to put in it. I used EDC short pastry. It was delicious.

Blitzed veggies added to mince, pat it out into a rectangle, lay bacon along one edge and top with smoked oysters. Roll up like a Swiss roll and place into a casserole dish. Pour a tin of Cream of Mushroom soup over and bake for about an hour. I served it with mashed potatoes and peas.

Roast pumpkin gnocchi, with sun dried tomatoes, spinach, a little Parmesan and a shake of truffle oil. A bit of a creation but I think it will work.  ???
