Judy, Nutrigrain is a bit of a guilty pleasure.
Smoothie for dinner as I’m going out for lunch with my cleaner.

Cookie, glad you are feeling better. Hope this continues.
The 91 year old from my Tai Chi class hosted dinner for 3 of her class mates. I was lucky to be included. It was a lovely evening with interesting company and lovely food.
I needed a special gift for my Financial advisor. I looked at Wilson’s hampers but didn’t see anything suitable. They suggested I select what I thought appropriate and that they would package it up with fresh fruit. Perfect and what a service.

There are heaps of recipes on our forum many have tried and commented on which helps others. Quite a few upgraded to the TM5 and now the TM6 but some of us still only have the TM31. My life has changed so the early model is fine for me for the little I do cooking wise now. They say spare parts for the TM31 will not be available after 2024 so I put mine in for a service and part replacements so it’s bound to last me as long as I need it. I haven’t heard of any dying and some have kept it even though they’ve upgraded. The TM31 is a real workhorse. There are many great books available now but they’re not really necessary when you can just google any meal you want and add Thermomix to the search.  If you have your mojo back then go for it Jenni.

So excited to see you again Judy! I’m afraid I still have those old, horrible recipe books. In fact, I pretty much stopped using my TM a few years ago. I’ve just recently been thinking I need to start using it again though, Is the forum the best place for me to find tried and trusted recipes? Have you all still got your TM31s or have you all upgraded? My machine is 13 yrs old now. Have you ever heard of any that have died? How long do you think they last? Sorry for all the questions. You were always the person I remember best from on here xx

Judy it always stresses me when I do these mad home arrivals. Super fast and crazy to do really . Today thankfully men slept in . The day was so hot. DS decided he needed a hair cut , so I drove him in ( thinking he would sleep ) I did a huge two supermarket shop ! DS went to Kmart and got a shite shirt and black pants for a B and S party ! Then he met me at Aldi a very good packing system we did . Off to voles to get more household stuff . DS comment “ the wheels might fall off the trolly !! Well they needed harvest food . Must say no shopping for weeks so it was big . After all the food we got it was frozen pizza 🍕 for dinner . Paddock ban ment we could do this and I rained a little . Think being over tiered means I cannot sleep . DD had me going for walks the last few weeks to get our steps up .

Ha ha, yes some of us are still here Jenni but the forum is very quiet these days. Some of the old members pop in from time to time but there are so many TM owners who have blogs now that there is no shortage of recipes. In the early days the recipe books were terrible and it was hard to find a TM recipe online so when we discovered this forum we sort of took it over. It has never shut down but we’ve been offline a few times for short periods until those who run it fixed the problem. Welcome back.

So very true Judy. That was what attracted me to it initially. It’s yummy too.

It is unusual cookie but looks very nice. With those tins you don’t have the problem of the centre not being cooked properly.
