Thanks for your birthday wishes everyone.  I am now getting used to the trauma of being 70!

Marina, nothing wrong with 70. Go for it. You are still working so you are doing well.
Office type work that I have been avoiding. I’d rather cook!

I went on another walk this morning. Third day increasing my steps . Last two times I’ve gone for 50/40 minutes and DH has collected me . Today I did half and turned around . Last night my face was pounding , wisdom tooth removal taking awhile to settle down .

A visit to the Optus store to sort out a problem with my account.  All good.

K Atie, keep an eye on your tooth pain, an infection in your mouth can be problematic and you don't want to go there.  Get back to your dentist of doctor if you are worried.

KAtie, have tooth checked out. I had no pain at all after wisdom tooth removed.
Too cold to exercise outside. I’m doing it on my treadmill in the garage, with iPad attached. Can read while walking.
Dried some SD and posed it interstate.
Clean out fridge. More office work. I’d rather cook.

Our eldest DS called in this afternoon to tell us that they have sold their lovely house and 17 acres of bush. We are rather sad about this because we have spent so many lovely times there  having afternoon teas in the sun or sitting around the camp fire with a camp oven roast and a nice bottle or two of good wine.  Since his chainsaw accident he has still not been able to work and has found it difficult to maintain everything as he would like to so we understand his decision.

I am sure your DS has gone through so much since his accident, selling his lovely home must have been a huge wrench to him and his family.  I can see how you would all be sad losing such a wonderful home, full of so many happy memories, now you will make more at his new place.

Mab, that is sad but life changes and we have to adapt. You have lovely memories and that is good. I have lived in 5 homes during my life time and good memories are attached to each. I’m sure your DS will build more good memories. Sounds like DS is making sensible decisions following his accident.
I’m consulting with solar company about attaching a battery to my solar panels.
Monthly general Probus meeting yesterday. I’m gradually feeling more comfortable at the club. This club is 24 year old , so friendships have been well established.

Mab your son and his family have made a difficult decision. Well done to them. Life can be mean at times. Are they moving any closer to you?
Chookie we would love to put in a battery for our solar, but we’ve had ours for so long that it isn’t battery compatible.

It is sad for your DS and family Margaret and I’m sure he’s been frustrated by not being able to maintain their property. I hope they’ve found a comfortable home they’re going to be happy in.
