We are having the pork belly from Teninas christmas book tonight. A treat for DS during the week - luckily I'm working from home so can prepare it during my breaks and then it just needs the time to cook. We'll have it with some stir fryed vegetables and rice.

I was making mince for tonight but added too much tomato stuff, so pureed it all up together, poured it over meatballs (I had them already in the freezer), then re-heated last nights leftover mashed potato and had them with steamed veg (I really do need a second TM - then I would have done more mash while the vegs were steaming - all after the mince had been cooked and pureed...)  ;D ;D ;D
All 4 kids (well, bubs was just saying "num num num num") and DH commented on it tasting nice, so must have worked!!!
:D

Well done Astarra. We're having corned beef.

Leftovers or Lentil soup tonight for DH and mysel.  I think I'll let DS get take away with his friend that's staying over, and DD and her party guests will have pizza at some so no cooking for me today.

I picked up some salt and pepper squid and prawns today at Woolies. We don't usually have these sort of things as prawns are a bit $$$ and we prefer squid we have caught. However we will have the squid in the AF and make Garlic Prawn Penne with the prawns. I'm looking forward to it.

Sounds delicious cookie. I still haven't tried the penne recipe yet. Must soon.
I made Spanish paella for tonight's meal and accidentally burnt the bottom. Oops...think I've forgotten how to use the cooktop 😉☺️
