Bought mine this morning in Lygon St. Carlton, Melb. Quite disgusting. Tried to get one for DH also but they only had one. He calls himself a Thermomix Martyr. Might buy some arrows and stick them in him, like Saint Sabastian.

That pic just rocks Gretch, and yes probably a bit too breezy for that time of year
Just want people to know that with regards to dressing up its optional (but a helluva way to kickstart the fun). Dress as ugly and bizarre or bazaar) as you want. There is heaps of time to find something, and you may even have something lurking on top of the wardrobe or out in the shed that fits the bill.
First tour has just fallen through as he couldn't get hold of a big enough bus, so I've got another company who have the size available, and they have given a special price as well. Hooray! Just waiting to hear back on the places we are going to visit, but at least I have a price to work with. Stay tuned.

Good idea DG - that with Gert's idea of a tea cosy on my head and I'll be set.

How easy was that hey?
Done the costing, just waiting to hear from the new tour bus company to confirm what places we will be visiting.

Please excuse this question, but when are we supposed to be dressing up? When we arrive, on the bus, whole weekend?

OMG OMG, on Saturday the theme is...."Bazaar Dressup". That means you have to get your clothes from the secondhand shop and dress up bazaar. Thats it, no argument - the weirder the better. (Ok for you Gretch that might mean wearing a jumper)

I don't know about dressing daggy for the whole weekend, some of us wouldn't like going out in public looking like that
CP, please confirm if this is your idea.
Dress up night is the Saturday night after we get back from our winery trip.
No need to hire fancy dress costumes, just go to an op shop and find something you would never wear in a pink fit, the weirder the better. Pay as little as you can.
Some sort of fancy hat would be acceptable if you didn't want to go the whole hog.

no not for the whole weekend, just for the bus tour onwards. they are quite used to groups having a fancy dress theme, and one lot were all dressed up as princesses etc. if you are going to just wear a hat - it can't be any old hat - needs to be bizarre in some or every way. anyone who is shy or embarrassed can hide behind a weird costume, although they will probably find that everyone will want to talk and have a laugh with them
