Name of Recipe:  Masa quebrada (Shortcrust pastry)

Serves:  Makes 500g

350g plain or pastry flour
130g cold butter, chopped into small pieces
70g water
A pinch of salt
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1 egg, beaten, to glaze

Tip all of the ingredients [except the egg] into the bowl in the order given 15 seconds / Speed 6

Origin:  This is a translation of a recipe in Thermomix TM31 Imprescindible para tu cocina which is the book supplied with Spanish TMXs.
