Love the red Ames, my favourite colour.
Couldn't help but notice your stepdads radio and gramophone collection - just amazing - he would get on with my big brother very well. My DB has loads and loads of the same - they are probably about the same age.  :D

Thats funny Mich, both my mums love red :D :D
That is only a very tiny part of SD's radio collection. There are 10 in the photo, another four to the left, more in the bottom of the cabinet, another 10 in the games room, and probably at least 60 in the sheds :-)) Oh, and about 15 at SD's shop ;D
Does your DB restore them Mich?

Thanks everyone for the comments, more photos coming soon :D The dudes have been here since 7:30 fitting the cupboards :D

Yes Amy, my brother Stefan does restore gramophones, stereos and he loves and has quite a collection of bakelite phones.
He has several hundred in the shed like your DSD. He calls it superanuation. He has given me 2 radios too - maroon bakelite types.
Love mixing vintage with modern.  :D He's a bit of a muso too.

Wow, amy, i bet you can't wait now to see the units on the walls.   It feels like yesterday they put in our new kitchen. great fun putting things back in to place!
Will the new one be bigger as before?

Love,
Stef

Amy how long has it taken them from pulling the kitchen out to now fitting it back, I had a boulder come this morning to measure up my kitchen for a new one.  Exciting.

Only a couple of weeks Brenda :D And that's nothing for us, we've been waiting for this kitchen for 5 years LOL :-)) ;D

So excited Stef, I'm sure you understand! :D These ones will be much bigger than before. We will have a full breakfast bar, a double sink, a dishwasher, lots of drawers, and a huge pantry! :D And they just look so awesome ;D I can't wait to get everything organised, I've been going crazy around the house for the past two weeks because it looks like a dumping ground :-)) But all that will soon change! :D

He sounds like he could be my SD's long lost brother Mich ;D Music and radios! What does he play?
I'm not sure what SD calls his radios... he's not that creative :-))

He mainly plays guitar but can play piano, sax etc.
We were both horrid children chosing a different instrument each year. So we both can play a few instruments but didn't master any one well.

I thought I'd add a pic of my haven, while it's momentarily tidy!!
We did major renovations to our house, and moved back in about 18mths ago, so that's how old it is. I totally love it, and now it has a TMX on the bench it's even more user-friendly!!   ;)

It literally sparkles.
