Pretty silly really, but as soon as I bought my TMX, I started calling it Thermiebaby every time I used it, wiped it down or whatever!!

Cute, that means it has character.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

The pantry shelves are finally finished and I couldn't be happier.  After much mucking around I have finally got photos to post.  The pantry is an L shaped room with a whiteboard opposite the shelves.  This is now the cleanest room in the house.  To prove my point, I've also attached a couple of photos of the messiest room - THE KITCHEN!!!!!!

it looks very homely keiramax. whereabouts do you live - the view outside your kitchen window looks like an English countryside but then again there was a jar of Vegemite in the pantry? Just gorgeous.

Oh wow, lots of gorgeous kitchens!
I don't think I could cope with a large kitchen, since I've never had one!

Would love a bigger pantry. Mine has spilled over to DD's old bedroom. It's my Thermomix office and overflow area for large containers and bulk buy ingredients like tinned tomatoes.
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

My parents always called me Susie Mac, as does my oldest school friend to this day!
It's a nickname derived from  my first name Suellen  (Susie) and my maiden name Mckay (Mac). :-))

It's been fun reading everyone else's reasons for choosing their forum names!!

Oh golly gosh, I want to read every page of this thread, but it will take me forever!!! :-))

I am another boring member who just used their real name! I added the smiley because I like to think I'm a smiley person :D :D

I would post a photo of our kitchen, but its extremely dodgy! We are in the middle of having renovations done so there are holes in the wall and floor, and there is some lino floor and some wood floor, and we have a sparkly new oven but a grotty old sink and benches. So I will post when it is all brand new and wonderful :D Unless anyone is interested in seeing before and after photos? Well, they would actually be "middle" and after photos... :-))
