A huge salad sandwich - one of our customers came in at the end of the day - she works in a rather up market cafe down the road and bought in a bag of 'end of day' treats that hadn't sold - so it was a massive sandwich last night and delicious cakes for morning tea this morning.  We do have some lovely and thoughtful customers :)

I made a veggie stew the other day so will have that for a few days. For lunch these days I often have Cruskits with cream cheese, tomato and cucumber. A friend who also has dry mouth problems put me onto them and I can actually eat the cruskits without having to follow up with lots of water after each bite.

Snap Judy, I have cruskits for my lunch most days but without the cucumber and I add some extra cheese.

The men are having leftovers tonight.  I'm having a bottle of Ensure as nothing much seems to want to stay down lately..  Soup and Ensure are my go to meals.

Margaret I was over the moon when I found I could eat them as I’ve always been a cracker lover. Haven’t tried Jatz or any other crispy cracker as my encologist said I would never be able to eat them or anything that crispy.  We both have our go to substitute meals in drink form thank goodness.

DD coming for dinner tonight. Grilled salmon, falafels, baked sweet potato, stir fry veggies from garden, baked apples. I’ve made cream of Cauli soup, but may not have this. Depends on how hungry she is.

Vietnamese restaurant tonight.  The daughter of friends of ours lives in Brisbane and she is coming down to Melbourne so we are meeting up for dinner.  It seems so strange as we have hardly seen her since she was a school girl and we figure she must be well into her 40s now.  DH and I are very much looking forward to catching up with her.

How nice Marina.
Last night I cooked fish and chips. I made a batter from SD. It was beautifully crisp. I’ve got a SD loaf proofing overnight.  I haven’t made a loaf for ages so thought I’d have a go. So tonight for dinner, SD toast, rubbed with garlic, topped with home grown tomatoes.

We’re having a de-constructed burger. It’s all the bits baked in one dish in the oven. It sounds nice
