I made another muesli slice for the freezer. DD said something tasted really off in the last one. DH said it tastes ok to him so he’s eating it. 😀😀

I pulled out what I thought were dead potatoe tops. Attached were small potatoes. I steamed them in TMX and then mashed them, skin still on. I then added egg , flour and milk SAnd P. Made mini waffles in my mini machine.  They are soft when cooked but reheated in AF turn crisp. G S ate some with Maple Syrup and cream , I thought I’d try some with grilled tomato, prosciutto and egg.

Marinated some chicken wings in a mixture of sweet chilli sauce and curry powder. Simple and tasty.   30 minutes in the Ninja BBQ. I lined it with paper liners that are made for AF baskets.

Bread Dad has a recipe forSD in the Small Bread Machine. I’ll give it a go. Can’t imagine it will be very good.

I made fluffy pancakes with maple bacon , strawberries , lemon juice and sugar for Sunday breakfast. Yesterday DGF gave me some apricots , so apricot jam was made ! I love this jam and wonder why don’t make it more .

KAtie, Apricot Jam is the most popular of all the jams I make.
The so called SD loaf in the small bread machine was not would be recognise as SD. However it made a lovely loaf. I used Rye starter . Made the suggested 9 slices. You turn the loaf on its side to slice.

K Atie, I love apricot jam too but find bought ones pretty tasteless. If only I knew someone with a tree.

My consultant spent over 2 hours here today, she came with a bowl cleaning brush as a gift which was nice of her. I’d not seen them before. I wanted to know how to use the cutter/spiraliser so we made zoodles which I’ll use later for tea. We sliced red onions to make the Cookidoo version of Pickled Red Onions which I completed after she had gone. A cooked egg mayo was made then some coleslaw to make use of what was left in the bowl. The only meal I wanted cooked was a TMX version of a ckd recipe I’ve made before - Chickpea, zucchini stew. Learned a few things about the machine so all in all it was great.

Chookie that is a very simple marinade, must try it as G loves chicken wings. I make him a suitable sweet chilli sauce so could use that. Oh and I sent a link to my consultant of your crispy batter for fish at her request.

Judy you are on a roll with all that cooking , well done . The apricots were home grown , gifted on from a friend, so I’ll share it with her . I did buy some more apricots, might stew these . As I looked in the cupboard and found last year’s apricot jam !! Oops .

Judy, so very exciting for you. I’m like G, I love chicken wings. DH often makes chilli chicken wings.
