The Everyday Sourdough Loaf I made from Cookidoo was very nice. It could have done with a bit more rising.  Next time.

Looks good Cookie.
Judy, I’m catching your process of cook and throw out. I made some ginger biscuits and they were awful. It’s the first time that I’ve binned anything. In the past the chooks got it.
Yesterday I made 24 SD crumpets. I give them away but I enjoy cooking them in the pie maker. Also made plain white loaf in bread machine. Yogurt and honey. A lovely light soft loaf.
Soup today. Not sure what yet but will be veggie bases.

I made another bread from Cookidoo today to have with our RTE baked beans for dinner. It’s called Pogàcà.  I didn’t squash mine down enough and it sort of exploded.

It tastes lovely and has a crisp crust, but not hard.

I made a Classic loaf. I had been having lots of fails with this but today was successful. I had new yeast, super boosted starter and a new supplier of flour.

Made stove top piklets with little boy I’m minding. He ate them as quickly as they came out of the pan. We had a lengthy discussion about the best jam. Strawberry won.

Very cute. I remember I was the same whenever mum make pikelets - she had to ban me from the kitchen!

If you don't mind sharing, what is your pikelet recipe as I don't have one and you have given me the urge to have a go.  Ta

I made some Subway Rolls from recipe community for dinner tonight.  They were easy to make but look a bit rustic.  I'm not sure why my photos always look blurred these day, I know I shake a little bit but I'm not that bad.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Those rolls look great t me, Mab.

Today I am baking DH's family's gingerbread for morning tea visitor then cashew nut curry for dinner guests tonight and trying my luck at garlic naan by substituting pita bread from the supermarket for the naan to go with the curry.
