dented bowl
« on: September 06, 2014, 04:40:34 am »
Hi,

So somehow I managed to dent the lip of the bowl. Probably someone in this house dropped it and didn't tell me (probably didn't realise). Does anyone know if there is a place you can get it fixed? like some kind of metal place?

My hubby did mine himself, use pliers and put a tea towel over the lip of the bowl to get it to the general shape, then he placed it on the bench and used another piece of wood on top and used a hammer - still using the tea towel on the bowl to protect it.

HO don't help with this sadly

My DH fixed mine with pliers after I dropped it, it's good a new now.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

My DH did mine too, however it still isn't perfect and I don't like using it unless I have to. I bought another bowl. The lid doesn't fit perfectly anymore.  :'( :'(
