Thanks Hannah - you are much more computer literate.  I did the Screen prints to bring to work today and left them at home.

May still put something together to help others.  Or if somebody else can do a good job (like Hannah and Rowyfo) then I would appreciate it.

Like Julie mentioned above, I tend to copy and paste into Word documents.  Then I can edit out bits I don't want and change anything I know I will substitute already.  I can often fit a couple of recipes on a page, and put them in a larger font with smaller margins so it's easy to read across the bench (so the book is safe and clean!)

I have a 3 ring folder with some of those sheet protector inserts and I've filed the recipes with like ones - the meals together, the desserts together, etc.

So far, so good. :)

Great ideas bel.

BTW - you should put your blog URL in your signature.  We didn't know that you had a blog.

First I will admit that I haven't read all the posts on this topic. (house guests).
The way I print is :
Highlight the bits I want printed.
Right click and select print preview.
When this appears, at the very top of the screen select 'as selected on screen"
Then print and only the pieces you have selected will print.

I'm as clear as mud!!! :-[

As long as you know what you are doing Cookie1 - I tried your way just to see if it would work (even though I have it perfected now) and things didn't pop up for me as they do you. What a complicated world is this computer stuff. Hope you had fun with your visitors and showed them a thing or two in the TMX.

Cookie1 - you are right  ;D ;D, that's how I often do it,  but I tend to put it into a word document to pretty it up/amend as mama_bel and others have said.

There are lots of ways  - as long as we can find something that works for all.

That's what the important thing is, as long as we can print all the new recipes.

Judy, I had a week of absolute fun with my cousin. She loved the TMX. She's a few years older than me and I hadn't seen her for nearly 4 years. It was like having a sister as we're very similar. We hadn't lived in the same house at all for about 44 years, when her Mum used to have me out on leave from my boarding school. DD and DH just did their own thing for the week. We went up to Moora (about 100 miles away) for the day as she lived there as a tiny girl, did lots of family history tracing and meals out and generally had a fantastic time. (even to the extent to spending several hours at the cemetery yesterday looking for long gone rellies in the pouring rain).

We West Aussies are a kind sharing lot when it comes to weather. (and recipes)    I think we must have had nearly 100% of days in August when it's rained.  We are still a lot below our August and yearly average-it just seems to rain every day. Must not complain; but I am sick of wet washing.

Oh Chelsea you poor thing. I think the big problem is that we are not really used to it over here. I spend my day sprinting to and from the clothes line.
