Nishime - In the Mix recipe review

I really enjoyed this for dinner tonight, but I did change the recipe slightly :)

I made the sauce first and used it to marinade my tempeh for a few hours. I'm glad I did that because I think the tempeh would have been a bit bland otherwise.
I also added a lot more vegetables ;D
And after the steaming had finished, I emptied the water from the TMX bowl and heated my sauce/marinade for a few minutes on speed 4 ;)

I thought it was really yummy and really easy. I'll be making this again in the future since we are eating more vegetarian meals :)

Sounds yummy Amy. I can't eat tofu but I enjoy tempeh.
Looks like you are back to normal with two great meals in a row after your chicken curry disappointment  ;D

I've never eaten much tofu or tempeh. The only vegetarian meals mum would cook when I was younger were always egg based. But now I'm in charge of cooking so I can experiment ;D
