I'm jealous - trying to finish up my work as quickly as I can and then will might make another trip to the shops. I'm working on the weekend anyway so will just add another hour or two to that - thankfully my boss is in London!

You could be right Gert. DH is hoping DD decides to buy a mini and give him her ipad 2. :D :D :D :D
I'm too scared to go and look at the mini, having recently bought another expensive kitchen gadget. ;) ;)

If you are going to subscribe to iTunes Match make sure you do it at the $24.99 per year price and not the $34.99 - its the same thing only dearer! Weird thing is, they don't even match their own rates.

Woohoo Gert, I got one after work as wel. Decided to go with the 32gb black. Haven't had much time to play yet but it's a great size and very light, much more portable than my iPad 3. I'll put the IPad 3 on eBay in the morning.

Gert does your Smart Cover make the ipad go into sleep mode? The one I have on my old ipad does but this one isn't sitting flat - think I've got a dud  :-[

It should (not that we've bought one yet) do unless it's turned off in settings.

If you don't fit it but lay it on the screen does it turn off?

Yes it does. Make sure you have it attached correctly.

I hope I finally have my mini sorted. This morning I had a 3g micro sim fitted and they just transferred the account to the mini from my other iPad so that was a good quick service at the Telstra shop.

I will enjoy reading on it as well because it is so light.

I had to throw in the mango!

I'm sure it's a dud cover, we have the smart covers on our full size iPads and never had a problem. This one doesn't sit quite flat on the surface of the iPad. I'll leave it a few days and see if it flattens out, if not I'll take it back and get them to have a look. It's a great size and I really like using it, so light and much more portable than the full size ones. I still prefer the feel of the kindle for reading because it fits perfectly with the size of my hand so can't see it replacing the kindle. Will hopefully get to the Telstra shop today to swap over the sim but I have a portable wifi device I can use as an interim measure so not in a great hurry to get that sorted.

You said you were going to put your other iPad on eBay Wonder and I am thinking maybe someone here would buy it from you.

What a shame to have to take the cover back. I don't think it will will flatten out. Bummer!

I am loving my mini!
