Cookie I’m very jealous as I contacted my hairdresser to get a haircut on Monday and she had Covid . Did a bit of gardening , now I’m sore.

Busy day yesterday ... had to type up 20 letters for work then prepare the house for guests next weekend which gave me the chance to play with my new 'toy' (the window cleaner I got at the garden show last week).  What a difference it made.  I cleaned 6 windows (inside and out) in about 10-15 minutes, this would normally easily have taken me 3 to 4 times longer!

Cookie, pleased that the Funeral went well. I have been thinking of you as we have a family , near Ballarat, that grow sun flowers. 20 acres of pick your own. It is a great tourist attraction.
Marina, glad you like the window cleaner. Ral says getting the correct amount of detergent right is important. He buys the detergent from a commercial cleaning company.
We are starting the paper work for the hospital today.

Isn't the paperwork for hospital a chore.  We did one of DH's documents last night and that one alone took 1 hour, and his is just for a day procedure, I imagine Ral's is even more hard work.

I spent a little bit of time in the garden yesterday & today.  There is a large area of violets that are out of control so I have been digging them up.  They are tenacious little devils but I am determined to reduce them.

We had a car club coffee meet this morning. It was lovely. It's getting larger by the month, I do miss the little group we had, but new friends to be made and get to know.
I have book club tonight.

Covid is a time waster . Spent a lovely time with GFs lunch and bookclub and also car pooled !! Now I know this is as such not a close contact . But DS is about to come home and go on a central Australia school trip on Sunday ! I cannot pass on Covid to the whole group . I moved rooms so DH ,although Covid privileged as had Covid in the 8 weeks thus he will be supposedly fine , does not pass it on to DS and can work with him on Saturday on farm . Now if I come down with Covid as DS is here then he becomes a close contact and cannot go or worse goes and then gets it and gives it to all . So this is all worst case issues , but now I’m hoping DS can stay at MILs for two nights . Stupid Covid drives me nuts but imagine if I pass it on the guilt is not worth it . He will have to zip in to get all his bags etc as he didn’t finish packing properly last weekend .

We did ours this morning to Mab. They forecast rain later in the day but they have been doing that for some time and we haven't received a drop. Hopefully today.

I’ve done a bit of cooking, tidying up the kitchen drawers and watering the back garden. That’s enough for me for the day.
