What have you been doing today?

Stewed some peaches in Thermomix. Off to have hair cut and then pick up DS after cricket practice . Cricket game was cancelled yesterday after school due to weather. so so cold last night went out to book club and had to wear a jumper and wool long cardigan to keep warm . Fire was going when returned home .

No Judy I didn't go into Aldi. I will wait until the rush at that store drops a bit. Woolworths had matched all their specials.
Denise I had a LC Torana. I bought it from my brother when he sold it. I can imagine the Monaro.

Enjoy your time in Melbourne Chookie. I so want to get over there again. Maybe soon I hope.
I had to wear a jumper to my book club too K Atie. Although it is going to be 28 today and 30+ tomorrow.

Up very early with DS to meet DD for her 16 Th Birthday breakfast with boarding friends , who were excited to have breakfast at a cafe . Home now baking a Orange blossom, yoghurt and cardamom cake : Alice bakes cake . Adapted it to thermomix. This will be for tomorrow when DD will come home . Busy day for her out with a couple of girls for afternoon tea then out later for another girlfriends 16 Th dinner .

An exciting age to be. I don't think I wish to be 16 again though. It would mean I have just completed my first year at boarding school, which I hated. The next year wasn't too bad though.

 Cookie, let us know when you are coming to Melbourne.  We will either come and meet with you or you could come to Invermay. Or both!!
Next week we are going to the RACV Resort at Inverloch.  We feel very fortunate that Mab and her DH are driving down to visit.
We are doggie sitting DD big white dog.  He like to get around and sniff.

This afternoon a friend and I went to see the movie Bohemian Rhapsody, we both loved it.  It finished at 5.45 pm so we stopped off at a hotel on the way home for dinner.

DH and I are looking forward to catching up with Chookie and her DH when they come to Inverloch.

You are in for a treat Margaret, such beautiful people.
This morning I was given a plant stand so I went to Bunnings and bought a heap of shade-house plants to fill it up.  My Christmas present to myself.  Can’t wait to get home and set it up.

We returned DD dog , we will miss him. 
Cooked a roast Chook for dinner.
