Great photos Cookie, glad your foot is not bothering you too much.
Chookie, what were the nut pastes flavoured with? Sounds intriguing.

This morning we went visiting other Model A members from WA in another caravan park. We travelled up with 3 of them so had a few days of catching up to do.
This afternoon we need to go and register for the National Meet and receive our goodie bag and further instructions. Then this evening it's Nibble and Natter time.

Last night we all went to the local RSL club and had a lovely meal. We don't have these in WA.
I thought I would share this photo with you. The car is from NSW and was done up like this for The Great Gatsby. The owner didn't want it returned to original.

I can understand that cookie, it has it's own provenance.

Tonight all the Model A owners and drivers from all, over Australia got together for Nibble and Natter here in Katherine. It was a lovely evening out in the open air of the museum grounds.

What great fun Cookie. Thanks for sharing.
Kath, one paste was Almonds, Cashews and Brazil base with lots of different seeds.  Fairly bland but nice on crackers with Quince paste. The other jar was Cashew based with coriander , mint, garlic and a slight touch of Chilli.
We started to build the Chook house today.  It came in a flat pack.  We will assemble most of it in the shed and then put it together in the yard.

Enjoy doing the chook house Chookie.

We spent most of the morning in the local hot springs. They aren't really hot, just barely warm. Very nice.
Formal dinner tonight, but no major dressing up as we are doing it "territory style" apparently.

Our evening was fun. We were picked up by bus, bit when it came time to be taken home the buses were going to all the parks except ours. Fortunately a couple of members have flown up and have hire cars so they couriered us back 4 at a time.
The food was ok. At least I didn't have to cook it or wash up. I ate far too much.

Today we drove up to Darwin. We stopped to help a couple of Model A's. One had a flat tyre and another one from Victoria kept boiling and needed to add water every 10 kms. We had some silicon he used on the radiator. It was sort of fun driving with so many old cars on the road.

We all got together tonight for drinks earlier tonight. It was fun. We were shocked at the price of drinks though. $5 per can!  Perhaps we lead a sheltered life.

Sounds like a wonderful trip cookie.
I've been busy Lily had her birthday party on Saturday, instead of a home party I thought we'd go to a ceramic cafe and they all got to paint a plate only problem is having to take our own food
The table was quite small and it was only an afternoon tea  but I managed to get it all on I made sausage rolls, caramalised onion and mushroom tarts, love heart cookies, watermelon cups, choc caramel tarts, fairy bread  and for the cake I did rainbow vanilla cupcakes and put them as a number 7 , I was very tired but the girls had a lovely time
