Bit late here today.
Spent yesterday night in Emergency.  This weeks event ... Ral has torn some ligaments in his right elbow.  I can’t complain as he did it lifting bags of Chook food. However the really good news is that the new medicine seems to be working.  His platelets are up to 162 which is within the normal range.  We won’t really know for 2 more weeks just how much improvement the new drug is making.

Wonderful news about the platelets Chookie. Do the torn ligaments mean he is off lifting duties from now on?

Wonderful news that Ral is responding to his new treatment Chookie and his platelets have gone up.

It’s been rather cool these past two days. I resorted to wearing a jumper again.

It don't rain but it pours eh Chookie. Me thinks we need to lock Ral up and keep him safe from those pesky chooks. Glad the platelets are up so Ral must be feeling a bit stronger but now the elbow! Hope he can manage to coffee machine at least. Hugs.

Thanks all for good wishes for Ral.
Yes Gert, it was a big worry about the Coffee Machine.  But he did manage.  I have to say that the Doctors and Nurses at St Johns are absolutely fab.
Not so cold today. 7 at 7 am.

Absolutely delighted that the new drug is working wonders for Ral ... it was well worth the battle you fought for it.

Sorry to hear about his elbow, he must be feeling very frustrated, hope it recovers quickly for him.

Wonderful. Wes that Ral’s platelets are up with the new medicine.  Let’s hope it continues.HOWEVER RAL, just because you are feeling stronger please don’t start throwing bags of chook food around anymore! Your platelets may be feeling 21 years old, however the rest of you is still 31.
Sending big hugs.  Lots of rest for you.

We are supposedly having a big front Cross here tonight and in the morning. Hoping it will bring rain and not too much wind.

Not as cold today but we still have rain.  Supposed to clear up for the long weekend.

Good afternoon or almost evening.  Very late today, I have had several unexpected visitors today, not all at once, and just haven't been able to catch up .

Looking forward to a (possibly) warm'ish long weekend.  Both freezers are empty so lots of cooking to do to fill them up.

It poured down with rain today but it’s cleared up tonight. I took DS grocery shopping 🛒. Seeing it was raining and couldn't get out into his garden he was going to do some cooking.
