DD and I have been out all day. It's been great fun.

Yesterday it rained all day. I did a little cooking and had a day reading.

Good morning everyone.  We had lots of rain overnight again.  It's nice and sunny at the moment.

Good morning folks, a much nicer day here today.  Going into the nursing home early today as there is a resident meeting with the new caterers we’ve had for the past 2 weeks.  Should be interesting, the residents are very outspoken about food.  A few issues but they are certainly improving and there’s nothing wrong with the taste and presentation.

That's good Judy. So often the food is yuk and looks like it.

Good morning everyone.  It is is cool and wet here again.

Had dinner with GS last night and he them organised us into playing board games.  Haven’t laughed so much for ages.

I love spending time with the GC too Chookie.  Ours range from 6 - 21 and we still play board games or cards with all of them.  Most of the times these day I lose. ;)

Good morning all.
Mmm, a very intense meeting Denise with some relatives not holding back.  Things are bound to improve now for those on pureed food and thickened drinks but as far as the others go, it’s the old story - you can’t please all of the people all of the time.  The room was divided, some loved the food others didn’t.  I’ve tasted all of DH’s meals and find them very tasty.
I love playing boardgames with the kids too Chookie & Margaret, we used to do it with our kids and it’s great that this generation of kids enjoy it too.  I like the kids to lose occasionally Margaret, it teaches them a lot but I’m afraid I’m like you and lose most of the time.

It has turned a bit cold. Not like Winter but still not much like Spring.

Going to enjoy tonight. We are taking the Agent who sold our house at Cherokee , out for Dinner. Her husband is coming also. We are meeting in Daylesford. I am a bit pi..ed off. Tried to book at an expensive restaurant but they have 2 sittings and we would have to finish our meal by 8 pm.  No chance to have a good talk.

Good morning everyone, a nice, warm weekend here.  The doggies will enjoy their last 2 days I’m sure.
Could you go for coffee somewhere after dinner to extend your evening with your guests Chookie.  What a lovely gesture on your part.  Enjoy your weekend everyone.

I hope your dinner went well Chookie. I was just reading about a dreadful accident with a bus bear Ballarat.

It is hard to please everyone with food Judy. MIL was used to Ukrainian food when she went to the nursing home so a lot was new to her. Sadly she doesn't read or write English and they have menus to select from. We were promised that someone would help her but it has never come about.  I'm very angry with her nursing home today. We gave her my Mum's wheelchair as she can no longer walk. Today there was a little plaque on it saying it belonged to them and was lent to her. I saw bright red. When I came home some how or other I found the receipt for it! It was bought on 15th May 2004.
