Slowly easing in to Spring. Days a bit warmer and we don’t need the heaters on as much.
Looking forward to a nice weekend.

Last night for the first time during the "Wet" season I had my bedroom air con on. Very warm night after a Full Moon Party in my "pod".  31 here today.

Update for my forum friends. Yesterday I had an appointment with my delegated surgeon in Cairns Hospital. Loved him. A real ovary tickler! He will be doing a wide excision on my 4.7 mm cancer left breast. Not much of a breast left though after suffering a previous cancer and radiation therapy which no doubt caused its atrophy. Feeling very lucky. There is a lot wrong with our health care system an de it is often a matter of luck but in this case the system worked. Looking forward to my first ever normal cruise in a couple of weeks.

Lovely full moon last night so our neighbours had a party in our pod. Great week for me.

Anyone for a meet up next year?

Oh Gert, so sorry to hear that you have to go through all of that again but you obviously have a lot of faith in your surgeon and I am sure he will take great care of you.

When you are ready, please give us an update to let us all know how you are getting on.  The cruise at the end of it all sounds just what you will need after your surgery and recovery.

Virtual hugs to you.

Best of luck with the op Gert and do enjoy your upcoming cruise. Bad luck to find the growth but good timing to fit the op in before your holiday. Xx

Actually the op will take place on Nov 15 of Nov a week after I get back from my cruise.. Interesting timing in that my last breast cancer was removed on American Thanksgiving Day 1997. I remember it well because I put a huge turkey in the oven and fed 10 people when I returned from hospital. When Ted and DD picked me up they had a bottle of Bubbles in the car for me as they knew I would need that to get me to produce a Thanksgiving Dinner. Not sure to this day whether I was happy or royally pissed off. In any event it was a memorable day. This time it is one week before Thanksgiving and I doubt an Uber driver will provide a bottle of bubbles. 😁😁😁

I tried replying last night but my new ipad doesn't like our wifi and it wouldn't load-it  kept timing out.

Take care Gert and give them heck! After the cruise you may be ready for a bit down time. I will be thinking of you.

Make sure you put in the right password for your wifi then reboot your I pad. Worth a try.

Mild weather here. First night no heating on.
Do you remember Teddy the little Bulldog? Well he visited yesterday And Is now big. Recently he stole his mother’s phone and slept on it. He has a lovely personality.
