Great shot of the vegetables Chookie.  They look like they are loving those raised beds!

CC, hope things start to improve over there so at least you feel like you have had a summer.  How do you think the EU vote will go?

How do you think the EU vote will go?

The pollsters say that Brexit is in the lead by ten points.Personally I think it's going to be a very close vote.

Great looking garden Chookie.

CC, grab those nettles and make some nettle tea for the garden - great stuff, but stinks to high heaven!

Brexit is hugely complex and I think, as with the recent Scottish independence referendum, it will cause a lot of friction whichever way it goes.

Good morning all, it's my day off and I've been awake since 5am it's too dark and cold to get out of bed.
I'm dreading the day I can't drive any more, just been for my yearly medical driving assessment doc say I'm fine to drive for years but government says I have to be assessed every year. I agree with you cookie Parkinsons is the pits. I'm one of the lucky ones as my progression is very slow.
I'm meeting a friend for coffee this morning if the queue isn't to long I'll go to Aldi's while I'm at the shopping centre. Then to my yoga class.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

Good morning everyone.  Nice to see you posting again Jenny.  What a pity you woke so early on your day off!! The inconvenience of having to undergo yearly driving assessments is worth it if it means you get the green flag to continue each time.  May you continue to pass with flying colours for many years to come xx

Jeninwa I feel your frustration.
Many years ago DH held a license to drive buses. He used it when he was working. He had to go for a 2 yearly assessment with it. At one assessment he was recovering from a severe back injury ( caused by protecting a child from another child!) This was listed on the assessment. He no longer has that particular type of license but the powers that be say he must undergo driving assessments. His doctor has written to them several times but the message hasn't got thought the beaurocracy (???).
Hang in there Jeninwa.

Hi Jenny, great to hear from you!

Lucky you Chookie, Lambley is on my wish list.  I have all their DVD's which I love especially the new veggie ones.

CC, today I received an email from a friend who is a councillor in London.  He was saying how confusing the info people are getting.  Either way there will be some people who don't like the outcome.

HI friends.
Very late today logging on.Time just flew away before I went off to my upholstery class today.
Sitting here early evening listening to the claps of thunder in the distance. One of the upholstery friends received a message from her DH that a local town was flooded because of a flash flood. :o

I'm going to leave the nettles Chookie and Marina LOL Someone else can have the pleasure of using them ;)

Morning all.
Feel rejuvenated after a very social day with friends and family.
Trudy, Lambley. Lovely as usual.  But If you visit make it Spring or Summer. You could visit us at the same time. We did buy quite a lot of lovely flowering plants to add more colour to our Invermay garden.
We are expecting rain today.
