Good morning everyone.  The sun is shining but it's quite cold.

Kate that sounds very relaxing. I'm being  driven to the podiatrist today, then DH is dropping me home and he's off to car club.

Good morning everyone.  Much calmer here today after a couple of blustery days.
The facial sounds nice Katj, let her practise on you as much as she likes LOL.
Enjoy being chauffeured around cookie.

I don't mind really Judy. The only bad thing is that I can't dawdle round at the shops. When we are food shopping he offers 'help' that isn't really wanted, its only this week, by the time we get back from Darwin I will be driving.

Yes Cookie, I know about the 'help'.  Chocolate seems to jump into the trolley when I am not looking.
Kat, enjoy your facial. I have never had one and I know it shows.  ;D
Just had a concreter to quote for slab in Chook house. Took a $100 off for lunch and morning tea. Ral promised him a Roast lunch. ,!

DH is a much better cook than I am, he just doesn't have time these days, unfortunately.

He's off to hospital tomorrow morning to have a knee arthroscopy following an injury he took over Xmas.  He is not happy!  I'll be hauling him straight off to Guildford as soon as he gets out and whilst he is still doped up with anaesthetic and pain killers and will keep him up there for a few days so that he can get some rest ... he was threatening to take his tool box up with him but then compromised and said he would just take his drill up, but I think he has now conceded that that is probably not a good idea (thank goodness).  Wish me luck with (probably) a grumpy DH on my hands for a couple of days.

Marina, it will be lovely for the 2 of you to spend some time at Guildford - a forced break so make the most of it. I hope you have some plans for when he does get bored and grumpy, he is such a workaholic that it's going to be hard for him.

Enjoy the enforced break Marina. I hope DH copes ok and I hope the procedure goes well.

It sounds like the concreting and roast dinner are a good deal Chookie.
