Hi everyone. Took me ages to work out why there was no reply box etc.
Eventually noticed that I was a guest and after many attempts at different passwords I am finally in.
What happened?  ???

That is simple and the reasons we are having no end of problems at the moment. MF.

Judy I am so glad you were able to help your neighbour. Very kind.

Well done Judy. I truly believe what goes around comes around.  Not that is why we do for others.
Still raining, lovely. Wish I could send some over.
Poor market.  The swap stall doesn't have cover,  most of the others do.  Oodles of vegetables but as we were heading for Melb I only selected Red Currents and an Organic cabbage. I took SD crumpets, lemon Bliss Balls, Black Forest Dukkah,  spice bags for corned beef. and a large bunch of herbs. They love the cooked goodies.
I made a resolution at 6.00 am this morning,  not to buy any more cook books.  Went to Readings and bought, 'Plenty More' and 'The Whole Pantry', by Belle Gibson. Absolutely no will power.
Must share an interesting thing that happened today. 12 weeks ago I put my watch in for a service as it was making a funny noise when moved. As we were going to Melb today,  I rang and asked if it was ready.  When they said they had no idea when it would be ready , I gave them a piece of my mind.  I told Ral that I thought I would contact Geneva and tell them about the poor service we were getting in Melb. They rang back the next day to say it was ready.  When we went to collect it today , I am sure it was a new watch. I am not rough with things but the original watch was 4 years old, this one has not a mark on it.,  very strange.

It certainly sounds like a new one Chookie, all's well that ends well.  No more books, ha - that's an impossibility.

Chookie there is nothing like a new cookbook. I'm glad that you seem to have a new watch. 12 weeks is a long time to wait for repairs.

Morning all.
CC, I was quite surprised at your report of ice.  Do be careful walking.
Still. Raining here.  But really cold. Good as I don't have to water the garden.
The mummy and Daddy Kookaburras are teaching their babies to laugh.  It is one of the most delightful things that you could experience. The babies keep trying with little cracked 1/2 laughs.  This goes on for several days until they get it right. When they  get it right there will be a chorus of 3 birds laughing together.

Speaking of Kookaburras, we were in one of the Playgrounds in Kings Park a few weeks ago for my GD's 2nd Birthday.
3 or 4 kookaburras sat in the trees above waiting for SIL to cook the bbq, they took turns of swooping down and snatching sausages off plates....so cheeky, we couldn't help but laugh!
