What a lovely painting Judy. A beautiful gift from a lovely lady  :D

I am wondering if that was painted in Mousehole in Cornwall?
Childhood memories and I remember watching the artists at work there.
A great talent to have but sadly I don't have it  ;)

MF, on the back of the painting it says Cornish Harbour and it's painted by Carol Curnow-Loveridge and all her painting are original & individual  - I'm sure Denise said she was a friend of hers but she can verify that when she sees this posting.

Thanks JD. It could be Mousehole but I guess it could be any number of Cornish harbour villages or towns.
Will be interesting to find out if CC knows exactly where.

Glad you enjoyed a well deserved lie in today after such a busy time. Hope Geoff is still doing well.  :)

Will try to post a few photos of our travels through Italy and Russia if anyone is interested.
All depends on wifi availability.  ;)

Of course we are interested MF, if you have time we would love to see them.  Some of us will never get to these places so the next best thing is to see one of our members doing just that.

Geoff is fine, exactly the same as he was before I went to Chookies so his condition is very stable at the moment. By all accounts, he loved the karaoke earlier this week and was tapping his finger along with the music.  He was still holding a maraca when I went in after Denise's plane left that day.  Having spent more time with the residents I think he feels more a part of the complex now so it was probably a good thing I had that break in more ways than one.  Sadly some of the residents completely forgot who I was with my absence so it's like starting all over again to get that familiarity back.  Geoff knew who I was though and that was the main thing  :)

Judy, the colours in the painting are beautiful it will be lovely for you to have it hanging above the computer where you will see it all the time.

MF, the trip sounds great and I would love to follow along with you if you can find the time to post photos. I always have great intentions but then never seem to find the time when I'm on holidays.

Uni that was great sleeping for you, hope you can make it a habit now.

Lovely painting Judy.  My knife and tea towel arrived today thanks to Judy! My knife is pink and I really needed a good bread knife. Yippee.

That's a long time Robyn, it would have driven me crazy but I daresay it's because of your location.
